High school Baseball!!

I think high scool baseball is very hot, popular. A lot of baseball lovers say they love high school baseball best.

Unlike professional baseball, high scool baseball is conducted by tournament system. Tounament system is not allowed to lose the game. So, high school baseball needs a lot of concentration.

Each play of high school baseball is full of guts. When I watch the game, I feel energetic. I played baseball when I was a high school student. High school baaseball is very wonderful!

In the summer, National Baseball Tournament will take place. I think all of baseball lovers are looking forward to watching the game. Me too!!

One of the ace pitchers in Japan#3

This is Hideaki Wakui, Saitama Seibu Lions.

He is 24 years old. He is in charge of his team's ace pitcher. He is so cool!! you know him?

His strong point is....... all!!

His fast ball and breaking balls are very sharp, and his control is very accurate. So, all of all, he is better than any other pitcher.

When he was a high school student, he participated in Yokohama high school baseball club. His club is very prestigeous. He practiced hard, and were able to participated in National Baseball Tournament.

After he entered Saitama Seibu Lions, he has been giving his wonderful performance.

How about today's pitcher? I think he will be more wonderful pitcher in the future.

One of the ace pitchers in Japan#2

This is Daisuke Miura, Yokohama Baystars.

He is 37 years old. He is in charge of his team's ace pitcher.

Though he is not young, he is being active now.

His strong point is his very good control. Look at this picture!

To be honest, he is scary-looking, but his pitching is very delicate. Especially, his control of his breaking balls is great.

Also, his breaking balls are very sharp. I think cut ball, one of the breaking balls, like slider, is difficult to hit.

Incidentally, he is called "Hama no Banchou" by everyone. The reason is that he is very virile!! His characteristic is a regent style.

How about today's introduction? His pitching style attaches control better than fast ball. I think his idea is right, for a lot of people say that a pitching style with a lot of fast ball is better than one with a lot of breaking balls when they watch the baseball game. However, if the pitchers pitch in order to win the game, a pitching style with a lot of fast ball is unnecessary, for if a pitcher pitch fast ball too much, fast ball can be hit easily. So, pitching is very difficult.
