Promising players#3

This is Tetuya Matumoto, Yomiuri Giants.

He is 26 years old. His position is center fielder. Look at this picture!

He is small, but because of his speedy playing style and his batting used his legs, he has been in charge of his team's center fielder since last year. In his team, there are a lot of powerful players, so such players as him are precious entity. I think such players will be more and more necessary to win in the future.

His beginning of a professional baseball player was not spectacular. When he joined his team, he had to participate in practice and game as a rearing player. A rearing player is not allowed to participate in the first team's game. However, he continued to endeavor to participate in the game and improve his baseball skills. As a result, he was allowed to participate in the first game two years ago.

Moreover, he was prized the rookie of the year last year. I think his effort and playing style will certainly be a good model for children playing baseball, especially height is small.

Look at another picture! How cool!

His storng point is also his playing style full of guts.

I experienced outer fielder, but such a play needs more guts.

How about today's player? If you are a Giants fan, you should remember him. In the first place, you have already known him, haven't you? Now, he is in farm team because of his leg's wound, but he will be back to first team soon. Do look forward!!

Promising players#2

This is Masahiro Tanaka, Touhoku Rakuten Golden Eagles.
He is 21 years old. He has been famous since he was a high school student. Probably, I think all baseball lovers will know him, for when he was the twelfth grade, he participated in
the national baseball tournament. Then, his team reached the final. In the final, the game ended in a draw, and the game was
replayed. Unfortunately, his team lost, but the game was impressive for many baseball lovers. Do you know the game?

His strong point is powerful and spirited pitch. He sometimes
pitches with shouting. He has been being active since he was a
rookie, and he is one of the indispensable pitchers for his team
now.

Also, he has a lot of breaking balls, such as slider, forkball.
Probably, I think he has six breaking balls.Incidentally, I have
five breaking balls!

Last year, he was chosen as one of Japan's selected members
in WBC. In WBC, he pitched stately to strong foreign countries.

I think he will be a more and more powerful pitcher. In the future, he may go to major league・・・. For one of the baseball lovers, I want him to stay at japan, and show his wonderful pitch! Do you think so? If so, cheer him in the future!

Promising players#1

This is Hayato Sakamoto, Yomiuri Giants.
He is 21 years old.His position is short stop.
Though he is young, he is in charge of core of the team.
In 2008, he established a regular player as short stop.
Sometimes he did very poorly, but Tatsunori Hara,
a Giants' supervisor, continued to choose him patiently.
As a result, he could live up to his supervisor's expectation
and give a wonderful performance.
His remarkable strong point is good defense and good batting
average. He makes less error because of his good agility and
quick reaction. Thanks to his good defense, he contributes to
the team's victory.
His batting is not only dynamic but also delicate. He is in charge of the team's first batter. He is also a fast player. So, he can do offense making use of his good running ability.
Also, because of his handsomeness, his popularity is increasing
among the young girls.
He will be sure to chage with the next baseball league.
Everyone, do pay attention to him!
